New Song from Deer Tick “Miss K”, Album Coming in October

There are few bands out there right now making more carefree, devil-may-care music than Deer Tick, and the first song released from their upcoming Divine Providence album (not out until October 25), “Miss K,” fits their M.O. perfectly, that of a vaguely classic rock vibe mated to indie-folk sensibilities, like the Avett Brothers covering the Rolling Stones.
Slightly mellower than previous outings, but no less catchy or rhythmically propulsive, perhaps this is the female counterpart to Counting Crows “Mr. Jones”?
