Today’s video is of a song with a long, winding history that runs throughout Columbia, SC music history. I first heard “Pyramid Rock” on a cassette release from the local band Rockabilly 88 back in 1985. 88′s guitarist Robbie Grice also recorded the song with his early 90′s rockabilly band The Losers, and he still plays it with his current band Flat Out Strangers. A classic rockabilly romp, it sure has stood the test of time well.
