Civil War Songs on the 150th Anniversary of Fort Sumter

April 12th, 1861 was the day the Civil War began, with the bombardment of Fort Sumter in my hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. Since I’ve been a bit of a Civil War history buff my whole life, here’s a selection of songs with Civil War related subjects in honor of that anniversary:
