South Carolina songwriter Steven Fiore has posted a new song on his Bandcamp profile, a demo or as he calls it, a ‘rough cut’ of the song “White & Blue”, with a promise of more new tunes throughout the summer that will eventually appear on his next album, due out in the fall.

“Two Clouds”, New song from Angela Easterling
Upstate South Carolina singer-songwriter-roots rocker Angela Easterling’s Blacktop Road album from a couple years back is still a favorite in these parts, so news that she went back to producer Will Kimbrough for Beguiler, due out in July, means that we’re very much looking forward to its release. Until then, here’s a rocking little number from it, “Two Clouds,” that’s a perfect example of Easterling’s grasp on classic tough gal alt-country:

The Heavenly States have a brand new video out, for the song “Berlin Wall” and it’s an endearingly rendered animation clip set to a tune from their latest album, Oui Camera Oui, and featuring vocals from Spoon‘s Britt Daniel:
