There are plenty of homemade music videos online, with varying degrees of quality and production values, but if you’re interested in the talented songwriters of South Carolina, check out the excellent, professionally produced Boneshow series on Youtube.
Featuring a Who’s Who of talented musicians from around the Palmetto State, the videos are filmed in interesting locations from river banks to billiard parlors, with the artist frequently moving or walking around while they’re playing. It offers a different perspective than the usual onstage setting, changing the context of the songs and the performances.
Here’s one example, for more check out the BoneshowSC youtube channel.

They’ll be playing their last show at New Brookland Tavern this Friday, January 22nd, with two pretty good young Columbia bands, Cayla Fralick and Cherrycase opening.
