Well. At least I got you to take a look. That's a big change and a decent start. :)

Have a great day.

Honestly I've never heard of you, but I checking out your website now and what you are doing is exciting. I don't think you can rely on the local press for much of anything.

Kevin,

Thank you for the kind words about “Grey Sweater.” I really enjoyed writing and performing that song 22 years ago. I’m glad that it still speaks to people.
Be blessed.

Sincerely,

Chuck

I don't get it. 2 different mixtape comp lists for Columbia artists and we got recognition on none.
Let me see if the checklist fits.
1- Columbia, SC FREE TIMES 2008 Best Male Solo artist? yes.
2- Regular National & International airplay? yes
3- multiple awards for our CD from across the nation? yes
4- The most recognizable nationwide act to come out of Columbia? yes.
5- Multiple National tours including a Guinness world record for headlining the largest Spoken Word tour in American history? yes
6- Multiple headliner shows here in Columbia? yes
7-Do we support the art scene and it's local artists? Yes
Every month we do a world wide streaming show with a packed house at the art bar. We've been putting on major events in Cola for 3 years.

We could go on and on and I still don't understand why we're being ignored by the press right here in the City we represent while much of the nation and quite a bit of the world is singing our praises with headlines in newspapers, magazines and a bevy of radio/video interviews.
is it because we're poets? Well, if that's the case then maybe the Columbia press should listen to our CD and take a second to reconsider.
